Nobilis Launches Surgical Assist Ancillary Services

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2015) - Nobilis Health Corp. (NYSE MKT: HLTH) (TSX: NHC) today announced the launch of its surgical assist ancillary service line. With the recent launch of Nobilis' intraoperative monitoring services, surgical assist represents the second ancillary services revenue stream that Nobilis has added this quarter.

"The addition of surgical assistants at our current facilities, starting in Houston, allow our surgeons and facilities to operate more safely and efficiently, thus increasing our facilities' capacity as well as their ability to perform complex procedures," said Kenneth Efird, Nobilis' Chief Development Officer. "Like our intraoperative monitoring services, this service line complements our current facilities' operations while allowing Nobilis to capture additional per case revenue. A third party will handle staffing and administrative matters associated with this service line's operation, thus minimizing the administrative burden on Nobilis. This provider has the ability to continue providing services as Nobilis expands and grows organically," explained Dr. Efird.

"With this launch, Nobilis furthers its stated goal of expanding our ability to capture additional revenue related to our current facility operations," said Chris Lloyd, Nobilis' Chief Executive Officer, "Surgical assistants can be seamlessly added to our current facility operations, and by electing to outsource the administrative burdens, we can remain focused on our core business while enjoying the dual benefits of increased facility efficiency and additional per case revenue. We intend to add similarly complementary service lines in the near future."
