MONTREAL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 7, 2006 -- Nord Oil International Inc. (OTC: NDOL) announced today that it is filing the SEC disclosure statement on form 8K to report the receipt of the unsolicited purchase offer for 100% of the total outstanding stock of Nord Oil International Inc.

The form 8K will be available today through the EDGAR system as well as through the Securities and Exchange Commission's website at www.sec.gov.
