Nordex Explosives Announces Purchase of Shares by Jacques Levesque

KIRKLAND LAKE, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 26, 2006) -

NORDEX EXPOSIVES LTD. (TSX VENTURE:NXX) announces that it has received information from Mr. Jacques Levesque, that on June 24, 2006, Mr. Levesque acquired 10,000 voting common shares of Nordex Explosives Ltd. (Nordex), representing approximately 0.18% of the total outstanding voting common shares, and approximately 0.18% of the voting rights attached to all issued and outstanding shares of Nordex, and that immediately after the transaction Mr. Levesque owned 1,097,200 shares representing 20.128% of the issued and outstanding voting shares and approximately 20.128% of the voting rights to all issued and outstanding shares of Nordex. Mr. Levesque has forwarded to Nordex an Early Warning Report with respect to the transaction, and requested the company to file same on SEDAR on his behalf.
