NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 7, 2015) - Norm Champ, a lecturer on investment management at Harvard Law School and former Director of the Division of Investment Management at the SEC, will be speaking at the MarketCounsel Summit being held December 7-10, 2015 at the Fontainebleu Hotel in Miami Beach, FL. Champ will participate in the panel discussion "Trending in Regulatory Enforcement" with Troy Paredes, SEC Commissioner from 2008 to 2013, on December 8th. The summit will feature other noteworthy speakers, including David Plouffe and Karl Rove discussing the future of independent wealth management and how the outcomes of the 2016 elections may affect that future.

"Regulatory enforcement has become an issue of concern for investment managers as they are subject to greater scrutiny and oversight," Champ said. "Investment managers need a better understanding of these rules if they are to continue their work effectively.
