TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2011) - Mr. Michael Sheridan announces that on January 10, 2011 (the "Effective Date") he acquired ownership of 570,424 units of Norstar Securities Trust at a cost of $0.25 per unit, and now holds a total of 2,905,680 units or a 61.56% interest in Norstar Securities Trust. The units of Norstar Securities Trust are not listed on an exchange. The transaction occurred on the Canadian Unlisted Board Inc.
Prior to the acquisition Mr. Sheridan held, or exercised control or direction over, an aggregate of 2,335,256 units of Norstar Securities Trust, representing 49.5% of the 4,720,000 outstanding units.
The units of Norstar Securities Trust were acquired by Mr. Sheridan for investment purposes. Mr. Sheridan may acquire additional units of Norstar Securities Trust in the future for investment purposes.
