Nortel Completes Divestiture of Certain L4-7 Data Assets to Radware

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - Nortel(1) (TSX:NT)(OTCBB:NRTLQ) today announced it has completed the divestiture of certain portions of its application delivery portfolio. The assets were purchased by Radware (NASDAQ:RDWR) following negotiations initiated in the fourth quarter of 2008, for a purchase price of US$18 million.

The assets purchased by Radware relate to the Nortel Application Accelerators (NAA) 510 and 610; Nortel Application Switches (NAS) 3408E, 2424E, 2424 SSL E, 2216E and 2208E product lines.

The products are still available from Nortel in an OEM relationship with Radware.
