North American Nickel Inc. (the "Company" or "NAN") (TSX VENTURE:NAN)(OTCBB:WSCRF) (CUSIP: 65704T 108) announces that it has filed an amended and restated final short form prospectus, amending and restating the short form prospectus dated June 30, 2016 (the "Prospectus"), with the securities regulatory authorities in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario in connection with its previously announced proposed marketed offering of units (the "Units").
The Company will offer a maximum of 160,000,000 Units at a price of $0.075 per Unit for aggregate gross proceeds of up to $12,000,000 (the "Offering"). The amendments include disclosure regarding a contemplated private placement (the "Private Placement") which may close subsequent to the Offering. The Offering is now scheduled to close on or about July 21, 2016, subject to certain customary conditions and regulatory approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV").
The Offering is being made pursuant to the Prospectus filed in each of the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. A copy of the Prospectus, which contains important information relating to the Units, is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.
Any Units issued under the Private Placement will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of closing. The closing of the Private Placement is subject to, among other things, approval of the TSXV.

About the Company
NAN is a mineral exploration company with 100% owned properties in Maniitsoq, Greenland and Sudbury, Ontario.
The Maniitsoq property in Greenland is a Camp scale project comprising 2,985 square km covering numerous high-grade nickel-copper sulphide occurrences associated with norite and other mafic-ultramafic intrusions of the Greenland Norite Belt (GNB). The >75km-long belt is situated along, and near, the southwest coast of Greenland accessible from the existing Seqi deep water port (See NAN News Release dated January 19, 2015) with an all year round shipping season and abundant hydro-electric potential.
The Company's Post Creek/Halcyon property in Sudbury is strategically located adjacent to the past producing Podolsky copper-nickel-platinum group metal deposit of KGHM International Ltd. The property lies along the extension of the Whistle Offset dyke structure. Such geological structures host major Ni-Cu-PGM deposits and producing mines within the Sudbury Camp.
