North American Partners in Anesthesia Recognizes Outstanding Achievers

Honors Two With Peter Walker, MD Mission, Vision, Values Award

MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwired - July 13, 2015) - North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) announced today that Candy Bayack, CPC and Christine Celi, CRNA have been selected as the first recipients of a newly inaugurated NAPA program designed to recognize those who live the organization's Mission, Vision and Core Values -- the Peter Walker, MD Mission, Vision, Values Champion Award.

The program was established in 2015 to recognize and honor NAPA clinicians and administrative staff for their dedication and commitment to living the organization's Mission, Vision and Core Values. The program, named for founder emeritus Dr. Peter Walker, sets a strong precedent and reinforces that living the Mission and Values of the organization is not the exception, but the norm at NAPA.

The award, which is the highest honor NAPA can bestow, recognizes one clinical partner and one administrative staff member quarterly. The recipients were feted at the company's Town Hall meeting on July 8, 2015 for their visionary approach to work and inspired leadership. Each received a monetary award and trophy. The award's namesake, Dr. Peter Walker, was on hand to present the awards.

"Our clinicians and employees are the heart of our success, so it is entirely appropriate that we foster a culture of recognition to show our appreciation for those who demonstrate and live our goals and values," said John Di Capua, CEO of NAPA. "Our core values -- integrity, excellence, respect and inspired leadership -- are the bedrock on which our organization rests."

Candy Bayack, CPC, serves as Senior Director of Operations Support at NAPA. In her role, Ms. Bayack manages client relationships and oversees the implementation of services for health care facilities and physician practice partners. With over a decade at NAPA, she is acknowledged by colleagues, clients and clinicians for her professionalism and collegiality.

Christine Celi, CRNA, serves as a staff nurse anesthetist for NAPA's Mid-Atlantic division and a clinical instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University's Graduate School Nurse Anesthesia Program. Ms. Celi is well-respected among anesthesia leadership and her colleagues, and her compassion and ability to deliver a memorable experience has led Christine to take on the role of orienting new onsite personnel at the hospital.
