North American Turf Manufacturers Join Forces On a Pilot Project: XL Generation and Sprinturf Strategic Alliance to Strengthen their Position On the Turf Market

ZUG, SWITZERLAND--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 18, 2006) - XL Generation International, Inc. (OTCBB:XLGI), a leading provider of artificial turf products and other leisure and sports surfaces, announced today the signing of an agreement with Sprinturf, the leading US-based designer, manufacturer and installer of synthetic turf systems. The agreement allows for the sharing of technological expertise for the creation of new products.

As a pilot project, XL Generation and Sprinturf have developed a professional grade, portable turf pitch unlike any on the market today. The pitch was made of Sprinturf's Ultrablade™ fiber and its patented Stabilon™ system along with XLG's revolutionary XL Turf™ EPP technology pad system. This product was introduced and demonstrated at the 2006 US Lacrosse National Convention that took place this past weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, where Sprinturf had been chosen as the official turf sponsor of the event.

Both H.E. Ambassador Alain Lemieux, President and CEO of XL Generation, and Hank Julicher, CEO of Sprinturf hope this pilot project leads to a long-term alliance between these industry leaders where additional products can be developed to meet the requirements of today's increasingly demanding market by being safe, durable and contaminant-free.

Glen Schorr, Managing Director of US Lacrosse commented; "We had the unenviable task of providing a 15,000 sq. ft. indoor surface for our athletes that would feel and play like a professional pitch but needed to be installed in just eight hours. We weren't sure anyone was up to the task but Sprinturf and XL Generation surpassed all our expectations. It was an outstanding effort."

US Lacrosse has a growing membership of over 182,000 players, coaches, officials and enthusiasts. Over 5,000 lacrosse enthusiasts attended this year's convention. This event has established itself as the largest educational opportunity for US Lacrosse member coaches, officials, and administrators in the world.

XL Generation is a major supplier of artificial turf surfaces. Based in Zug, Switzerland, it holds the worldwide commercial and manufacturing rights for the revolutionary "XL technology" protected by a web of patent/patent applications in up to 42 jurisdictions.
