North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. Announces Thomas A. Koons as New Director

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - August 12, 2016) - North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. (OTCBB: NODB) is honored to announce the election of Mr. Thomas (Tom) A. Koons to the Board of Directors.

Koons began his career in real estate investment, brokerage and management in 1981 after attending the University of Oklahoma. He left the real estate industry in favor of accepting a position as a sales representative in the technology industry in 1988. By 1998, Koons had formed his own representation firm, the Tom Koons Company, which concentrates on supporting sales activities of US manufacturers focusing on international sales, particularly in the European Common Market.

Tom Koons is a fifth generation native Texan who has been a part of the North Dallas Bank family since inception of the Bank in 1961. Koons' father, John P. Koons, served as the Bank's founding legal counsel and served more than 30 years on the Bank's Board of Directors. Mr. Koons married Dallas native Lisa Mills Koons and together they have raised four sons. The Koons' community involvement has included Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Park Cities YMCA and the Highland Park High School Sports Club Board. Mr. Koons also volunteers with Gideons International as the Faith Fund Chairman.
