North Sea Energy Announces Update to Its Board of Directors

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 6, 2015) - North Sea Energy Inc. ("NSE" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NUK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Larry LeBlanc to the Board of Directors of NSE. Mr. LeBlanc has 38 years of diverse international, frontier and domestic energy experience, and has been a senior executive for the last 18 years. He has an engineering degree and an MBA focused on strategic management and upstream energy experience in Canada (including the Arctic, Western Canada and the East Coast) and internationally in Europe, West Africa, and the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. LeBlanc has significant board experience as a board member of Rally Energy, Crown Corporation in Nova Scotia (NSBI), chair of the board of the Nova Scotia Science Centre, and chair of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. Mr. LeBlanc was a past member of the Nova Scotia Premier's Energy Council and has worked directly on the province's energy strategy. He has been responsible for renewable energy ventures in Atlantic Canada since 1996 and CEO of Renewable Energy Services Limited since 2004. Finally, Mr. LeBlanc was previously Senior VP Operations of EnCana responsible for Canada's East Coast.

NSE also announces that Mr. Dave Antony has resigned as a director of NSE, effective immediately. Mr. Antony continued as a director of NSE after the reverse takeover transaction with Ranger Energy Ltd in October, 2011. The board and management of NSE would like to thank Mr. Antony for his contribution as a director over the last three and a half years.
