North Shore Hospital System Approves Woodworth


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 4, 2009) - J. M. Woodworth Risk Retention Group, Inc. has been approved by the North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital System to provide medical malpractice insurance to physicians and surgeons with admitting privileges at any North Shore affiliated hospital.

Woodworth provides medical malpractice insurance to physicians and surgeons practicing in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. The Company was formed in 2006 as a Risk Retention Group under the federal Liability Risk Retention Act that allows companies authorized in a single state to do business in other states without additional regulation.
