Five years ago, North Texas Hospital opened its doors through the vision of a committed group of physicians who partnered with Cirrus Health to make that vision a reality. North Texas Hospital is a 59,980 square foot acute care hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient surgerical services. Over 40 physician partners and 130 local physicians provide care in imaging, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), gastrointestinal (colonoscopy), podiatry, wound care, pain management, plastic surgery, urology, vascular and neurosurgery specialties. The medical campus has grown to include:

North Texas Hospital provides state of the art wound care services located on campus at North Texas Hospital's Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. The center not only provides a specialized treatment plan for wound healing for individual need; it provides state of the art hyperbaric chambers as a supplemental treatment for complex diabetic wounds, compromised skin graphs and flaps, delayed radiation therapy, necrotic tissue infections, ostomyclitis, crush injuries, and other select wound problems.

Texas Back Institute is one of the most academic private practices in spinal care and is the largest freestanding multidisciplinary spine center in the world. Texas Back Institute is also located on the medical campus and works closely with the clinical team at North Texas to offer minimally invasive procedures with outcomes of less muscle damage, blood loss, recovery time and better range of motion following surgery.

Attendees will have an opportunity to view and test drive the da Vinci Robotic Surgical Operating System® that has been successfully been treating the prostatectomy, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, myomectomy, sacral colpoplexy, D-switch (Bariatric), Low Anterior Resection (LAR)-Bowel, NISSEN (GERD/hiatel hernia defect) and Adrenalectomy. The patient's recovery is generally faster with minimally invasive procedures. North Texas Hospital was the first healthcare facility in Denton County to acquire the da Vinci Robotic Surgical Operating System® with physicians traveling from all over the world to observe the techniques and superior outcomes in North Texas Hospital. Both Caring for Woman and The Women's Centre physicians who are on staff at North Texas Hospital are trained in da Vinci robotic platform surgery.
