Northern Ontario's Largest Office Solutions Showroom Takes Off in Sudbury

Grand & Toy's Relocated and Renovated Sales Office and Furniture Showroom Showcases Office and Interiors Solutions in Experiential Environment

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 1, 2011) - Canadian office solutions provider Grand & Toy welcomes customers to its new Office Solutions Showroom in Greater Sudbury. The largest office furniture showroom in Northern Ontario, this 5,000 square feet facility, also serving as a Grand & Toy office and workspace, is the company's first showcase model piloted in Sudbury.

"Grand & Toy has been part of the Sudbury community for many years," says Derrick Hartley, Sudbury District Sales Manager, Grand & Toy. "Our new Office Solutions Showroom reflects the company's evolution and commitment to Northern Ontario and its largest city, serving double duty as a working Grand & Toy office and a showcase environment. The new Showroom helps customers, in a very tangible and visual way, get directly in touch with a broad spectrum of office solutions and receive expert advice on how these solutions can boost their bottom line and efficiency."

The new Office Solutions Showroom is part of Grand & Toy's strategy to better serve their Sudbury and Northern Ontario business customers. Showroom visitors are exposed to a full suite of business solutions for their office and interiors needs, including office furniture, ergonomics stations, technology offerings and complete conferencing solutions, available at a variety of price points to fulfill the needs of any size business. Being guided through the Showroom's highly functional physical space, customers can assess the benefits of various options in an attractive experiential environment that showcases best practices in the workspace.

Strategically located in Ontario's North-eastern business hub, the Showroom is designed to meet the business needs of local small, mid and large enterprise business customers from a cross-section of industries represented in the area, from public administration to mining, retail trade, hospitality, professional services, education, healthcare, and more.

The innovative showroom is part of the company's ongoing strategy of assuming a consultative approach when servicing the B2B marketplace and reflects Grand and Toy's commitment to providing Northern Canadian businesses with the tools and services they need to grow their business while staying focused on their core activities.

"The new Showroom puts our people closer to our customers, enhancing our ability to serve as trusted business advisors who anticipate and proactively respond to customer needs," says Mr. Hartley. "Our Business Solutions Advisors (BSAs) in the Sudbury region have a lot of experience working with local businesses and are increasingly trained to play a consultative role. We encourage our customers to talk to their BSA not only about their office needs, but also about the current workplace trends and different office and interiors concepts that can add value to their business."

The new Sales Office and Furniture Showroom, which opened in December 2010, is conveniently located in a dynamic area of Greater Sudbury at 444 Barrydowne Road, at the crossroads of the Trans-Canada highway, highways 69 and 144, and the CN and CP railways.

It serves as a workspace for eight local Grand & Toy employees who live in Sudbury and the Greater Sudbury area.
