Northern Spirit Resources Inc.: Proposed Private Placement Closes and Management Changes

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2010) -

Richard F. Boyd, CEO of Northern Spirit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NS) (the "Corporation"), is pleased to announce further to the March 24, 2010 news release, that the Corporation has closed the non-brokered private placement offering to a non-related party of 800,000 common shares at $0.25 each for gross proceeds of $200,000. The shares are subject to a hold period expiring August 1, 2010. 

The Corporation also announces that Richard F. Boyd has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and James N. Tanner, President, has also been appointed Chief Financial Officer.
