Northern Territory Government in Australia Signs Services Agreement With IBM

ARMONK, NY--(Marketwire - April 15, 2008) - IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced the Northern Territory (NT) Government in Australia has awarded IBM a three-year contract to provide the maintenance and support of their System z hardware and software.

The award of this contract demonstrates the NT Government's continuing faith in the high reliability, availability and serviceability of its z/OS operating system and the underlying z hardware platform.

The Department of Corporate and Information Services (DCIS) provides centralized management of nine key services, including Accounting and Financial, Fleet, Human Resource, Information Technology, Printing, Procurement Policy, Property Leasing and Tendering Services.

The agreement was signed in January of 2008.
