NorthgateArinso to Present at the 28th Annual APA National Congress

Session on Payroll Record Keeping Requirements

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) -

What: Ginny Elkins, Transition Manager, NorthgateArinso, will present a session at the 28th Annual American Payroll Association National Congress. The session, focused on payroll record keeping requirements, will cover US Department of Labor - Wage and Hour requirements, FLSA, FMLA, Internal Revenue requirements and I-9 Immigration Reform and Control recordkeeping rules. It will also highlight the impact of mergers and acquisitions to recordkeeping and the basics of how to store your records securely.

  Ginny leads the implementation transitions to service operations for the HR/payroll outsourcing business of NorthgateArinso. Prior to joining NorthgateArinso, Ginny held various leadership and management roles in the outsourcing, HR/payroll and accounting arenas for more than 20 years. Ginny holds a BS in business management with an accounting major from Urbana University and earned her CPP certification in 1997. Ginny has been an active member of the APA since 1993 and had previously been involved in local chapter leadership positions with the Miami Valley/Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio chapters for several years.
  Ginny was the recipient of the Donald Sharper Educational Grant Award in 1998 as well as the APA's Meritorious Service award in 2006. For over 10 years, Ginny has been a workshop instructor at the APA Annual Congress, as well as many state and local chapter meetings. Ginny has been a past contributing writer to PayTech Magazine and the SSN reporter.
