Northland Power Reports on the 2015 Annual General Meeting


TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - May 19, 2015) - Northland Power Inc. ("Northland") (TSX: NPI) (TSX: NPI.PR.A) (TSX: NPI.PR.C) (TSX: NPI.DB.B) and (TSX: NPI.DB.C) today announced the results of the election of directors at its Annual General Meeting ("the Meeting") held on May 19, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario.

The total number of voting shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy at the meeting was 115,693,255, representing 68.56% of Northland's outstanding voting shares.

The seven nominees proposed by management for election as directors were elected by a show of hands. Proxies were received as follows:
