Northstar Electronics, Inc. (NEIK) Achieves AS9100B Certification, a Major Aeronautics Manufacturing Certification

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - October 22, 2009) - Northstar Electronics, Inc. (OTCBB: NEIK) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Northstar Network Ltd., has been certified to AS9100B standards by QMI, North America's leading management systems registrar.

AS9100 certification is the gold standard in the aviation industry and is reserved only for aviation companies committed to providing excellent service. As the first global aerospace quality standard, it includes aerospace requirements applied to, and integrated with, ISO 9001. Based on ISO 9001, but with nearly 100 additional requirements specific to aerospace, the AS9100 standard was established by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant industry improvements in quality, safety, and reductions in cost throughout the value stream. Holders of this certification are internationally recognized as qualified suppliers to the industry and are registered in the industries worldwide Online Aerospace Suppliers Information System (OASIS).
