NorthStar Unveils Long-Life NSB Red Battery™

SPRINGFIELD, MO--(Marketwire - January 17, 2011) - NorthStar, an industry leader in producing high-performance lead-acid batteries and site solutions, has unveiled a new breakthrough in battery performance technology: the NSB Red Battery™.

The NSB Red Battery™ provides exceptionally long float life, even at elevated temperatures. This means huge potential cost savings, due to reduced battery replacement and maintenance. Using the latest pure lead NSB Red Technology™, the new battery is specially designed for telecom backup power applications, where reliability and long-life are important.
