Northwest Meat, a Chicago Meat Distributor, Celebrating 53 Years and Still Going Strong

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 14, 2011) - Northwest Meat Company, a local Chicago meat distributor, celebrates its 53rd anniversary. Family owned and operated from its very beginning, the company keeps expanding and attracting new customers thanks to the combination of strict quality control and commitment to customer service.

The company was founded by two brothers-in-law -- Bruno Michelotti and Louis Fabbri -- in 1958. It was acquired by the Michelotti Family a decade later. Northwest Meat changed ownership again in 1997 when the family of Stan Neva -- Bruno's son-in-law -- took over the company. The small family business continued to grow over time and now, more than half century later, it is one of the most recognizable brands in Chicago.

Catering mainly to Chicagoland's restaurants, clubs, and hotels, Northwest Meat provides only the highest quality meat from beef and pork, through lamb and veal, to homemade Italian sausage. All products are USDA Prime and USDA Choice.

Make sure to visit the company's website for a list of delicious recipes of the Italian cuisine.
