Nova Energy, Inc. Provides Production Update on Inglish 1H and Inglish D1 Oil and Gas Wells in Barnett Shale Prospect

CARSON CITY, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- Nova Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NVNG) is pleased to announce production numbers for the Inglish 1H horizontal well and the Inglish D1 vertical well, which are both located in the Barnett Shale prospect, in Cooke County, Texas.

The Inglish 1H well went into production in early September 2006, and has produced over 1500 Bbls (barrels) of oil and over 5,000 Mcf of gas to date. Inglish D1 went into production on September 15th and has produced 1760 barrels of oil and 8600 Mcf of gas in the last several weeks. Nova Energy will begin to receive revenues from these wells in early November, based on the Company's working interest in each of the respective wells.

Production operations are still recovering frac water from both wells and oil production capacity is expected to increase as the flowback water is removed.
