Nova Scotia Selects JEMTEC for 3+2 Year Agreement

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 22, 2010) - JEMTEC (TSX VENTURE:JTC) ("JEMTEC" or the "Company") the leading provider of integrated technology systems for community based corrections in Canada, has received notice that the Nova Scotia Department of Justice has selected JEMTEC to provide a full range of Offender Electronic Monitoring Systems and Services. The agreement, starting December 2010, is for 3 years with 2 additional years selectable at the option of Nova Scotia Justice.

The major services and technologies provided for in the Agreement are:
(1) Radio Frequency bracelet using landline base station
(2) Radio Frequency bracelet using cellular base station
(3) Passive/active/hybrid GPS tracking using landline base station
(4) Passive/active/hybrid GPS tracking using cellular base station
(5) Active GPS tracking one piece bracelet
(6) Voice biometrics
(7) Automated offender telephone services
(8) Field monitoring device(s)
