Nova Uranium Corporation: Mont Laurier Area Drilling Continues

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 26, 2006) - Nova Uranium (TSX VENTURE:NUC) is pleased to report that its Phase Two drilling program on its Mont Laurier property is progressing well. The drill program will include a minimum of 14 inclined drillholes in the area of the recently discovered near-vertical uranium-enriched Dyke 18 Complex.

Nova has completed 10 of 12 planned holes on the Dyke 18 Complex. No analytical results from samples collected from Phase Two drill core have yet been received. An additional 2-4 holes will be drilled on an extensive surface radioactivity anomaly located about 350 metres south of the Dyke 18 Zones; situated in close proximity to Phase One drillhole NV06-06.

Nova anticipates that the remaining drillholes will be completed in the first week of November, when the drill will be moved to other uranium occurrences on the property which are presently being readied for drilling. These prospective targets include the historical showings Tom Dick, No. 1 and JRB-4, as well as the newly identified Anomaly 12 zones. Bedrock uranium mineralization has been observed at all of these showings, occurring in both pegmatite sills and dykes.
