Dear Mayor Rob Ford:

Mr. Mayor, perhaps you have seen the latest NOW Magazine or heard press reports about this matter. We at NOW Magazine think it is very important that you attend this weekend's Gay Pride Parade in Toronto. At the same time, we understand and salute wanting to spend time with your family.

So we are offering you a solution. We at NOW will pay for a float plane to fetch you from your cottage, fly you to Toronto in time to attend the parade and then fly you straight back to your dock in time for an afternoon BBQ. Based on where we understand your cottage to be, in the Huntsville area, we are confident the flight would be 40 minutes or less each way with the parade taking approximately 90 minutes.

Please take us up on this sincere offer so you can serve both of your families this weekend, the Fords and the people of Toronto. Happy Canada Day, Mr. Mayor, hopefully we'll see you at Pride, too. Please let us know one way or the other if you will be taking us up on this offer.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Michael Hollett
