NQ Intersects 232 g/t Ag and 0.87% Zn Over 7.0 Metres at the Carheil Project in the Selbaie Area

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) -NQ Exploration Inc.(TSX VENTURE:NQE) is pleased to report the results of a fifth drill hole of the exploration program at its Carheil project. Hole CA2011-14 has confirmed the continuity of the Ag1 zone toward surface and a sustained high silver content, returning up to 499 g/t Ag over 1 metre at 335 metres vertical depth. The results for the three last holes are still pending.

NQ Exploration has just received the results for Hole CA2011-14 of its winter drilling program, which confirms the presence of several high-grade silver zones, as well as the size of the mineralized zone, which exceeds 110 metres true width. Prior to this program, the exploration team had been focusing on the potential at depth, but recent results are increasingly indicating that the zones extend toward surface with sustained high grades.

The best hole from the Ag1 zone is Hole CA2009-05, which returned 524 g/t silver over 10.5 metres at a vertical depth of 400 metres. Hole CA2011-14 has just intersected the same zone some 75 meters above this intersection, returning an average grade of 231.7 g/t Ag and 0.87% Zn over 7.0 metres within a larger zone grading 104.7 g/t Ag and 0.62% Zn over21.7 metres. This result compares well with Hole CA2009-05, which intersected an enrichment zone of 35.5 metres grading 170.7 g/t Ag.

Zone OrAg1, first mentioned in the press release dated April 6, 2011, also appears to be present, although less thick in this area, with a best result of 4.05 g/t Au, 76.0 g/t Ag and 4.44% Zn over 0.7 metres. The best result for other enriched zones intercepted elsewhere in the hole was 500 g/t Ag, 1.42% Cu, 3.4% Zn and 0.31 g/t Au over 0.35 metres. The felsic mineralized zone in Hole CA2011-14 contained significant quantities of zinc and silver over 140.85 metres, averaging 23.4 g/t Ag and 0.47% Zn.

The following table shows a breakdown of the best results from Hole CA2011-14:

These new results confirm the strong value of the Nordest showing, which contains high-grade silver and gold zones that appear to show good vertical continuity. The various zones are open in multiple directions.

The three last holes of the program were drilled to test the mineralized units at vertical depths of 450, 300 and 100 metres, so as to improve the understanding of the mineralized sequence nearer surface. The results for these holes are expected in late May.

Assays were performed by the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d'Or. The samples are assayed using two methods: 1 – for gold, first by fire assay with an FA-AA finish, then for results over 1 g/t rerun by fire assay with gravity finish; 2 – for 35 elements using ICP (ME-ICP41), then, for results over 100 ppm silver and/or 10,000 ppm Cu/Mo/Pb/Zn, rerun using the ore grade method (OG46) with aqua regia digestion and ICP-AES or AAS finish.
