nSight Announces New Webinar Series Focused on Developing Successful eLearning Programs

Three-Part Series to Show Best Practices and Techniques for Creating Effective and Engaging eLearning Content

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - September 21, 2010) -  nSight Inc., a content development and communications services firm, today announced that it will present a three-part series of Webinars focused on developing and sustaining effective corporate eLearning programs.

This series, titled "The Three Vs of Corporate eLearning Content: Vision, Velocity and Value," will cover best practices on how to create engaging eLearning content founded on instructional design, lesson planning, and course development techniques.

Presented by Lee Stayton, nSight's Vice President of eLearning Services, the free Webinar series is designed for executive decision-makers, training and development managers, interactive media specialists, product and marketing managers, and others involved with developing a corporate eLearning program.

Part one of the series, "Vision," which will be held Oct. 5, at 2:00 pm ET, will be focused on understanding "the big picture" of eLearning, and how the quality of the content of an eLearning program drives its adoption or failure.

The first Webinar of the series will cover the following business challenges and opportunities involved with creating corporate eLearning content:

  • Setting attainable business goals and learning objectives.
  • The pros and cons of outsourcing content development.
  • The types of content assets and when to apply them.
  • The roles and skills required to create and adapt eLearning content.
  • Common pitfalls of sustaining a successful eLearning program.

Part two of the series, "Velocity," is focused on how to bring multidisciplinary teams together in ways that foster rapid, creative reengineering of content.

Part three, "Value," will discuss output options, and how to deliver the right information at the right time, maximizing the value to the learner no matter what type of medium they are using to consume the information.
