NSK Americas Selects Ci&T for Enterprise Integration Services

Market-Leading Motion and Control Product Manufacturer Engages Lean IT Pioneer for Rollout of Enterprise System Across the Americas

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA--(Marketwire - Jul 6, 2011) - Ci&T, a technology outsourcing and software product engineering company, today announced that NSK Americas, Inc. (Headquarters: Ann Arbor, Mich.), has engaged Ci&T for deployment of a mission-critical enterprise system in its commercial business. For the project, Ci&T will leverage its unique combination of Lean principles and value engineering to deploy the system at multiple NSK business units across the Americas, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the United States.

When seeking to replace its previous enterprise system, NSK faced a challenge. The company needed to roll out the new solution without disrupting existing business processes, while implementing new operating procedures that would be standardized across its business units in the Americas. Ultimately, NSK determined that the enormity and complexity of the project required it to choose an implementation partner that possessed the business agility to help deploy the solution without negatively impacting business performance.

NSK turned to Ci&T for the project, as it believed the company's dedication to Lean principles and value engineering would ensure the deployment of a solution that guaranteed maximum usability and value to its business. Furthermore, because of the backlog of items that required organization and Ci&T's innovative solutions for project execution and architecture scenarios, NSK believed that its services would lead to a smooth, efficient deployment.

"Ci&T's use of Lean principles and value engineering played a major role in our decision to work with them," said Randy Pomerville, Director, Information Systems and Technology, NSK. "It meant that the features deployed in our new system would only be those that added value to our business. In addition, from our first encounter the team demonstrated an enthusiasm for our business that only made our choice easier."

"NSK is a pioneer within its industry, and this spirit has permeated its entire business -- including its IT department," said Leonardo Mattiazzi, vice president, international business for Ci&T. "We believe that Ci&T's devotion to IT innovation makes us a perfect fit for this project and partnership, and we look forward to delivering on NSK's expectations for a fast, value-generating global rollout."
