NSS Expands Security Services to Banking and Financial Industry

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Feb 18, 2013) -  NSS Labs, Inc. today announced the appointment of Mike Book as Senior Director of Sales, Financial Services Division. Based in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Book will be responsible for business development initiatives within the Financial Services industry throughout the United States and Canada.

NSS is the only research analyst firm backed by a testing laboratory. In the last three months alone, the company has released findings on vulnerability threat trends, breach detection systems, network intrusion prevention systems, building an effective e-discovery strategy and modeling evasions in layered security.

Mr. Book will be working with lead research analysts at NSS, including Dr. Ken Baylor, Research Vice President, a widely recognized leader in Bank Security, IT Security and Regulatory Compliance; Research Director Francisco Artes, a former Chief Information Security Officer in the private sector with law enforcement expertise on cybercrime, hacking and forensic security; and Research Director Dr. Stefan Frei, a veteran in identifying threat trends based in Switzerland.
