nTrust Partners with Local Charities to "Be Good" to the Communities they Serve

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 23, 2014) - In a continued effort to give back to the local community, nTrust has signed on the first of their Be Good charity partners, which include the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation, BC SPCA, David Suzuki Foundation, Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and A Better Life Foundation. Part of the nTrust philosophy to Be Good, the initiative donates 25% of all transaction fees paid by nTrust-integrated merchants to a local foundation or community project of the member's choice.

Through the initiative, nTrust is encouraging Canadians to get involved and help determine how to direct their donations. Whether supporting vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS through the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation, defending and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals across British Columbia through the BCSPCA, protecting our environment now and for future generations through the David Suzuki Foundation, empowering people to nourish themselves by providing access to healthy food, education and training through the Greater Food Bank of Vancouver, or supporting members of the community in need through a program that aims to provide a better quality of life through Mark Brand's A Better Life Foundation, nTrust's Be Good partners are actively improving the community.

At the time of account registration, members will be prompted to select one of nTrust's partnered charities. When using nTrust to pay for an item at an integrated merchant, 25% of the merchant's transaction fees will be donated to the selected charity. Members can change their charity at any time, allowing them the flexibility to give to multiple organizations within their community. Each time a member pays with nTrust, they directly support the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation, BCSPCA, David Suzuki Foundation, Greater Vancouver Food Bank, A Better Life Foundation, and future "Be Good" charity partners.
