NTVB Acquires Events Company AMPitLIVE, Merges It With TV Guide Magazine Operations

Names AMPitLIVE CEO Paul Turcotte Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of TV Guide Magazine, TVInsider.com

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - October 19, 2015) - NTVB Media, Inc., has acquired events company AMPitLIVE and merged it with the TV Guide Magazine and TV Insider operations (TVGM). AMPitLIVE founder and CEO Paul J. Turcotte will join TVGM as Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer. He will report to TVGM CEO David J. Fishman and split his time between the company's New York and Los Angeles offices.

The acquisition comes less than two weeks after NTVB Media, owner of TV Weekly and leading cable and satellite television publications, acquired TVGM. With the addition of AMPitLIVE, NTVB Media and TVGM now offer print, digital, and social media products, as well as events and sponsorships.

AMPitLIVE conceives and produces major events, primarily in the entertainment industry, that provide valuable content for media properties and positive exposure for brands. In partnership with TVGM, AMPitLIVE conceived and developed the Television Industry Advocacy Awards to benefit The Creative Coalition, a highly successful event that generated nearly 200 million media impressions.

He previously held senior positions at Hachette-Filipacchi Media, U.S., Men's Health Properties, and Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
