Nuclear Incidents May Soon Be Easier to Survive: Inventor Discovers Formula That Blocks Radioactive Contamination in Food and Water

TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - August 13, 2014) - An independent food science researcher has discovered a dietary formula proven to capture radioactive cesium isotopes present in food and water after nuclear exposure. The formula, called "Cesium Eliminator, Formula 137" has widespread applications for enhancing public safety in the aftermath of nuclear accidents, nuclear terrorism or nuclear war.

Cesium-137 is an extremely dangerous radioactive isotope that quickly contaminates waterways and soils following a nuclear disaster. With a half-life of 30 years, cesium-137 persists for centuries, rendering lands uninhabitable by humans.

"Cesium Eliminator" is laboratory validated via ICP-MS and patent-pending with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The inventor, Mike Adams, is a food contamination research scientist who discovered toxic heavy metals like tungsten, lead and cadmium in popular organic foods and superfoods. He appeared on The Dr. Oz Show recently to reveal his findings. He serves as the executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center ( and plans to make "Cesium Eliminator" available at no cost to emergency response organizations concerned about nuclear accidents.

"Cesium Eliminator is the first scientifically-validated dietary supplement with a proven ability to bind with and capture radioactive cesium isotopes," Adams explained. The product is made from a unique form of zeolites combined with a specific ratios of dehydrated seaweed, chlorella, spirulina and grape seed powder, all Generally Recognized As Safe by the FDA. Adams invented "Cesium Eliminator" in the privately-owned atomic spectroscopy laboratory outside of Austin.

The cesium-capturing efficacy of the dietary supplement is laboratory proven to average 95.4% across a broad range of concentrations ranging from 6 to 91 ppm. "Cesium Eliminator" is designed to be used as an emergency supplement that can be taken with food or water to capture radioactive cesium isotopes, preventing them from being absorbed by the body during digestion. Once captured, cesium isotopes are naturally eliminated by the body through bowel movements.

About Mike Adams:

Mike Adams, founder and Editor of, is the research scientist who heads up the Natural News Forensic Food Lab in the Austin, Texas area. As an outspoken crusader for safe, healthy food, he has achieved international acclaim as The Health Ranger. Mike is a highly effective whistleblower whose research has revealed heavy metals contamination such as lead, cadmium and tungsten in popular rice protein powders, lead and cadmium in cacao superfoods, high mercury and lead in both cat and dog treats, and lead in ginkgo biloba herbs. He is the inventor of Cesium Eliminator and Heavy Metals Defense. In late spring of 2014 and again in July, Adams appeared on the Dr. Oz show sounding the alarm about heavy metal contamination in food. As Dr. Oz pointed out, "Mike Adams is not afraid to take on controversy, buck conventional medical wisdom nor lead a revolution when it comes to your health." Adams has been dubbed the Ralph Nader of consumer health.
