Nuclear Street Announces the Launch of Exclusive Online Nuclear Video Section

Now Offering the Latest in a Series of Nuclear Street Enhancements for the Nuclear Power Professional

WAYNESBORO, VA--(Marketwire - April 17, 2009) - Nuclear Street (www.nuclearstreet.com) today publicly announced the launch of its online Video Section, accessible through the home page of www.nuclearstreet.com. Nuclear Street is the premiere web 2.0 new-media destination for nuclear industry professionals. Our focus is to provide an open forum and online tools for industry professionals to easily connect with nuclear plant personnel, suppliers, recruiters, or anybody in the industry. The site publishes daily with current nuclear news, columns, jobs, advice, maps, charts, industry barometers, and now videos. The new Video section is now live and features a variety of informative, educational, and timely video presentations. Videos are submitted by companies and organizations and are posted if they meet the editorial standards of Nuclear Street.

According to Nuclear Street Publisher and Founder Cam Abernethy, "We have been working on this feature since late 2008 and we are very pleased with our offering. Nuclear Street prides itself on offering a huge selection of meaningful resources to nuclear industry professionals and video is a logical part of this approach. Anyone who has legal rights to a video is invited to submit that video to our Editorial Department by e-mailing it to editor@nuclearstreet.com at any time. If the video meets our standards we will add it."

Nuclear Street entered into an Agreement with Third Wave Digital of Macon, Georgia for providing its first series of videos called Nuclear Power Animation. This series graphically displays over 50 nuclear power plant operations such as nuclear power steam generation, reactor defueling, and the nuclear fuel dry storage process. "We are very pleased with the quality of work from Third Wave Digital."

The new Online Video section at Nuclear Street is just one of many new offerings for 2009. In January of this year Nuclear Street opened and launched its own, in-house, Editorial Department. Staffed by career veterans, this department now publishes fresh news, features, white papers, and columns every day. Nuclear Street increased the frequency of its popular newsletter in February from monthly to bi-weekly. The company's Photo section was launched in April and continues to grow.

The Jobs and Careers section, one of the most heavily trafficked sections of the site, launched some new tools and applications in April, with more to come.

"We have some very exciting projects that we are finishing up right now. This summer we will launch more features that we expect will highly please our already encouraging readers. We get fan mail every week and our numbers have been growing every month. In my opinion, we have the best readers in the nuclear power industry, and we are dedicated to working hard to keep them informed and involved," said Cam Abernethy.
