Nurses at North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center Win 2016 Leadercast Healthy Team Challenge and Trip to Atlanta

Nearly 1,000 Individuals Participated in Challenge Aimed at Growing Organizations' Overall Health

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - March 15, 2016) - Nurses at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center took the meaning of the word, healthy, to a new level this year and won the 2016 Leadercast Healthy Team Challenge. Atlanta-based Leadercast, one of the world's premier leadership organizations, launched the 4-week challenge to teams across the world to grow in organizational health starting on Jan. 18.

Nearly 1,000 participants representing 385 organizations, including the nurses at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, participated in challenges to grow in relational, workplace and physical health. They also learned lessons in leadership from world renowned leaders, including Don Yeager, former Sports Illustrated Associate Editor and New York Times Best Selling Author; Andy Stanley, Leadership Author and Communicator; Cheryl Bachelder, CEO of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc; and Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP SE.

As Grand Prize winners, nurses at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, will embark on a trip for four to Atlanta to experience Leadercast Live on May 6, 2016 -- the largest one-day leadership event in the world. Broadcast live each year from Atlanta to 100,000+ people in hundreds of locations around the world, Leadercast Live brings together many of the world's most recognized and respected global leaders to create a leadership experience unlike any other.
