NVIDIA Appoints Seasoned IT Exec Vishal Dhupar as Managing Director, Sales and Marketing for South Asia


BANGALORE, INDIA--(Marketwire - October 18, 2010) -  NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) today announced that it has appointed Vishal Dhupar as Managing Director, Sales and Marketing for South Asia, responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of its business in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan, effective immediately.

Dhupar previously served for five years as managing director for India and South Asia at Symantec, following a similar position at Autodesk. He has also held a variety of sales leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics and Digial Equipment Corp.

Following Dhupar's appointment, Daniel Saison, who was previously Sales Director, Middle East, India and Africa, will focus entirely on the Middle East and Africa.
