Irvine-resident Dr. Rob Soltes was the first optometrist to lose his life in the Iraq War in 2004. Since then, the community has rallied behind Rob's wife, fellow optometrist Dr. Sally Dang, and his three young children, Ryan, Brandan and Robert. Proceeds from the tourney will support For Families of Active Military, a charitable non-profit organization.
