NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - December 17, 2010) - Dr. Thomas Tooma of NVISION Laser Eye Centers, formerly a part of TLC Laser Eye Centers, announced today that NVISION has opened its ninth location in Murrieta.

Dr. Parikh is the San Diego Chargers Official Team Ophthalmologist and former medical director at Advanced Ophthalmology Institute. Dr. Parikh knows the importance of precision in LASIK procedures having performed more than 12,000 LASIK surgeries.
Dr. Burns has performed more than 20,000 refractive and cataract surgeries. Prior to joining NVISION, Dr. Burns served as the clinical instructor of ophthalmology for the University of California, San Diego, where he previously completed his residency and served as chief resident.
On September 1, 2010, Medical Director Dr. Thomas Tooma purchased interest in eight TLC Vision Centers to become a separate LASIK brand. The new brand now operates as NVISION Laser Eye Centers and has the same surgeons, staff and locations in La Jolla, Palm Desert, Ontario, Fullerton, Newport Beach, Laguna Hills, Torrance, and Camarillo.
