(NWMT) NewMarket Affordable Housing Partner Vita Developments and Mountain Movers to Hold Charitable Fundraiser to Support Community in Honduras

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - November 11, 2010) - NewMarket Technology, Inc.'s (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) (OTCQB: NWMT) Greenfield Partnership Program today announced its affordable housing partner Vita Developments, Inc. (www.vitadev.org) and Mountain Movers International (www.mountainmovers.org) are scheduled to host a charitable fundraising event this Saturday in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex to support an affordable housing community under construction near Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

"The NewMarket Greenfield Partnership Program supports a broad variety of small enterprises within developing economic regions to include entrepreneurial construction projects working to build safe, dignified, affordable and sustainable housing communities," said Philip Verges, NewMarket Founder and Chairman. "The NewMarket affordable housing initiative was started by our former board member, the late Major General Hugh Robinson. During the Johnson Administration, General Robinson was the first African American to ever serve on Presidential Staff. After the Army he served as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas. It was a privilege to work with him and his legacy remains at NewMarket. The Greenfield Program exclusively works on projects with the potential for high, rapid profitable growth and we believe socially responsible projects have a better potential for long-term success. To enhance the long-term success of its affordable housing projects, NewMarket is working with two charitable organizations, Vita Developments and Mountain Movers International, who have partnered to ensure each community of affordable homes has a church or other religious institution, school, market center and health clinic in order to help the community become self sustaining and not remain in need of serial charity. Vita Developments is hosting a charitable event this Saturday in Dallas to raise funds for an affordable housing community currently under construction in Honduras. We are excited about this project and working with Vita Developments and Mountain Movers as they create an infrastructure that fosters the development of local small businesses and sustainable housing for localized employment bases in the developing economic regions where NewMarket focuses business development."

NewMarket, Vita Developments, Mountain Movers and The United Nations

A NewMarket Greenfield Partnership Program privately held participant company in Honduras is facilitating the construction financing of a 119 unit affordable home community outside Tegucigalpa, Honduras while Vita Developments and Mountain Movers raise charitable donations to build the supporting infrastructure, such as the community market center and school, that is necessary to keep poverty from simply being recycled into the new community. Vita Developments and the NewMarket Greenfield Partnership Program are already working on developing local small businesses run by potential future residents of the community to support the long-term sustainability of the new community. Philip Verges recently highlighted one of the small business enterprises in Honduras empowered by NewMarket and Vita Developments in a speech at the United Nations in Geneva. Click on the link below to see the speech.
