NWP Services Corporation to Provide WeatherTRAK® Irrigation Management to the Multi-Housing Industry

WeatherTRAK Smart Controllers Have Been Shown to Reduce Irrigation Water Usage and Costs by More Than 50%

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 29, 2006 -- NWP Services Corporation (NWP) and HydroPoint Data Systems (HydroPoint), the proven leader in smart irrigation, today announced a strategic agreement whereby NWP will sell, install and support HydroPoint's WeatherTRAK technology to property owners in the multi-housing industry. This agreement presents a new opportunity for NWP's customers to significantly reduce water costs, including those related to overwatering, water-related structural damage, erosion, mold and plant replacement. By adopting this technology the multi-housing industry can also significantly contribute to water conservation by reducing its water usage by billions of gallons each year.

"We are very excited about our relationship with HydroPoint and by the positive response we are receiving from our customers and the marketplace," said Michael Radice, president and CEO, NWP. "Integrating HydroPoint's proven WeatherTRAK technology into NWP's existing utility cost management services will further boost our customers' overall utility cost savings and improve their profitability," added Radice.

On-site WeatherTRAK "smart" irrigation controllers receive a wireless transmission each day, delivering watering instructions for varied plant and landscape types based on daily changes in localized weather conditions. NWP can analyze their customers' utility cost and consumption data to identify apartment communities where irrigation savings opportunities are greatest, providing those customers with property-specific cost and ROI projections. NWP can then provide WeatherTRAK equipment to its customers as well as manage the installation of and field support related to the use of WeatherTRAK controllers.

"Millions of dollars are lost each year to inefficient and ineffective management of irrigation," said Chris Spain, president and CEO, HydroPoint. "We are pleased to align ourselves with NWP in helping the multi-housing industry turn a costly problem into a positive ROI story."

WeatherTRAK, the only smart controller product line proven by the EPA to virtually eliminate runoff pollution, has outperformed all other smart irrigation systems in 20 studies conducted by a broad range of public and private organizations. Most recently, WeatherTRAK received the first and only perfect scores on the Irrigation Association's SWAT™ test of irrigation controller performance. Over $10 million has been allocated nationally by water agencies as rebate incentives for water-saving WeatherTRAK controllers.
