PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - Jun 7, 2012) - Nyxio Technologies Corporation (OTCBB: NYXO) ("Nyxio" or the "Company"), an innovative provider of Smart TVs, Tablet PCs and related consumer electronics devices, announced today that it has hired Ken Klarfeld to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for the fast moving company.
Mr. Klarfeld joins the Nyxio Team with twenty-five plus years' experience in general management, marketing, engineering and sales across a variety of high tech companies from the largest defense contractor in the U.S. to a startup company in the conceptual stage. He has also owned and operated innovative and successful integration firms specializing in networked entertainment products. As a director and early employee at Replay TV he was instrumental in creating and promoting a new product category, the DVR, now a household word. While serving as VP at MBTV he penned deals with Scientific Atlantic as well as Thompson Electronics.
"Ken's expertise and talents are a custom fit for Nyxio Technologies," said Giorgio Johnson, Founder and CEO. "His understanding of hardware, software and applications in the TV and connected device categories gives Nyxio Technologies access to 25 years of executive perspective across all aspects of our client base. Ken's level of talent is a needed and refreshing addition to Nyxio's executive team. His outlook on capturing market share and his experience with the startups as well as the consumer electronic industry is invaluable. We are excited to have him on board."
"When I first was introduced to Giorgio Johnson I knew Nyxio Technologies was a company that had the potential to change the entire Television experience as profoundly as the DVR had a few decades ago," commented Ken Klarfeld. "I consider it a privilege to be part of a revolution that I believe will surpass the impact felt by the introduction of the DVR. Once again I find myself on the cusp of a changing world for entertainment and there is nowhere else I would rather be."
