O Bee CEO Is Awarded "Distinguished Credit Union Professional Award"


TUMWATER, WA--(Marketwire - September 23, 2009) - Bruce Cramer, CEO of O Bee Credit Union, was awarded the "Distinguished Credit Union Professional Award" at the Annual Credit Union Leagues State Conference in Bellevue, Washington last week.

The Distinguished Credit Union Professional Award recognizes an executive who has displayed leadership and business acumen within the credit union movement. The winner has shown their commitment to the core principle of "people helping people" through their work in their communities, whether that be in civic, business, or charitable activities.

Mr. Cramer has shown his commitment to helping the community by serving on the WA State Department of Financial Institutions' Efficiency Task Force for five years as a contributor to local publications about the importance of credit unions. He has served as President of his Rotary Club, past President of the Tumwater Chamber of Commerce, board member at the Private Industry Council, and a March of Dimes volunteer.
