Oak Valley Bancorp and Oak Valley Community Bank Add New Director

OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 20, 2013) - On November 19, 2013, Terrance P. Withrow accepted his appointment to the Boards of Directors of Oak Valley Bancorp (the "Company") (NASDAQ: OVLY) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Oak Valley Community Bank (the "Bank").

Withrow currently serves as Partner of Withrow Koftinow Callaway & Baggett, LLP., Certified Public Accountants. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984 and formed the accounting firm of Ciccarelli and Withrow in 1990, located in downtown Modesto. He is a current member of the California Society of CPAs and has served as a Stanislaus County Supervisor for District 3 since 2011.

Withrow has lived in the Modesto area most of his life. He attended St. Stanislaus School and Central Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from California State University, Stanislaus in 1982. Terry and his wife, Christen, have four children. In addition to his work as CPA and County Supervisor, Withrow is an almond and grape farmer.

He has been active in our community over the last 25 years. He helped found the Stanislaus County Farmland Trust. He is a past board member of Woodland Avenue Fire District, Gallo Center for the Arts, Central Catholic High School and the Stanislaus County Assessment Appeals Board.
