Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Commercial Loan Officer Hiring


OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 12, 2013) - Oak Valley Community Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Valley Bancorp (NASDAQ: OVLY), announced that Roxanna E. Smith has joined the Bank as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. She will be based out of our Modesto-McHenry Branch, located at 3508 McHenry Avenue.

Smith has over 30 years of commercial and agricultural lending experience centered in Stanislaus and Merced Counties. She has held managerial roles within banking, but prefers direct contact with clients as a Community Banker. She is a Board Member for Sierra Vista Child and Family Services where she currently serves as Treasurer. She is a Graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation program -- Class XIX. Roxanna is active in numerous other community based Ag related causes that aim to educate the public on California Food & Fiber production. She received her education from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Agricultural Business Management. Smith currently lives in Modesto with her husband Reed and daughter Alexis.
