OAKDALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 5, 2007 -- Oak Valley Community Bank, (OTCBB : OVYB )
recently announced that Alan Wilbur has joined the bank in the position of
Vice President, Investment Representative. As a financial advisor for the
bank, Wilbur will specialize in the Oak Valley Investment product line,
assisting clients in setting up and maintaining mutual funds, stocks,
bonds, and fixed and variable annuities.
Prior to joining Oak Valley, Wilbur served as Vice President of Retail
Investments at County Bank for 6 years. He is a California State
University, Stanislaus graduate and has been awarded the Lifetime
Achievement Award in Investments from the Independent Community Bankers
Association. He was five times awarded the title of Investment
Representative of the Year, an honor given by a previous employer.
Wilbur has been a resident of Ripon for 24 years, where he lives with his
wife, Celia. They have one grown daughter. Wilbur sits on the board for the
Spring Creek Golf and Country Club.
