Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Hiring

OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2011) - Oak Valley Community Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Valley Bancorp (NASDAQ: OVLY), recently announced that Sylvia Orozco has joined the bank as Vice President Branch Manager of the Bank's Modesto-McHenry branch. The new branch is located at 3508 McHenry Avenue and is scheduled to open in early June.

As Branch Manager, Sylvia will oversee and manage sales, service and operational activities for the Branch. She will manage staff goals and be responsible for business development and deposit growth.

Orozco brings extensive local knowledge to her new position. She has spent 35 years in Central Valley banking circles, including serving in business development positions at Stockton Savings and Guaranty Bank. She is currently a member of Make a Wish Foundation, Latin Community Roundtable, Modesto Chamber of Commerce, and the Institute of Technology Advisory Group. Orozco is a lifelong Modesto resident and resides in Modesto with her family.
