Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Promotion

OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - Oak Valley Community Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Valley Bancorp (NASDAQ: OVLY), announced the promotion of Ron Davenport to Vice President Mid-Valley Area Manager.

Davenport joined the bank in 2006 as Vice President Branch Manager for the Modesto 12th and I Street Branch. In his new role, he will be responsible for the Bank's business development initiatives, overall direction, and evaluation of the branches within the Mid-Valley Area, which includes the Bank's 12th and I Street, Escalon, Patterson, and Turlock branches.

Ron has 33 years of banking experience and has worked in the Central Valley since 1988. He specializes in business development and relationship management. Ron has been active in the Modesto community for many years including serving as board member for several non-profit organizations. He is currently a member of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Land Use and Transportation Committee. He graduated from Leadership Modesto in June 2009. Ron and his wife, Chris, have lived in Modesto for more than 20 years.
