Oakwood Upgrades Phoenix-Based Worldwide Sales & Service Center With Move to State-of-the-Art Area Offices

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 19, 2011) - Oakwood Worldwide, a leader in the temporary housing industry, is relocating its Phoenix-based Worldwide Sales and Service Center to a larger facility in the Phoenix metro area. The center is core to Oakwood's service delivery model , providing 24/7/365 sales and customer service, as well as housing international bookings, hotel bookings, and centralized accounts receivable & payable teams. The new building will house the current staff of 140 Associates as well as provide room for expansion.

The improved capabilities of the new location include the ability to host a data center, conference room facilities for up to 80, and new work environments for the 140 Associates. Oakwood has already taken advantage of the space by adding team members to the newly formed Americas Operations team, servicing clients and suppliers in North, Central and South America.

Oakwood has chosen several local Phoenix businesses to work with on renovation and design for the new property, including Michelle Romero, I.I.D.A., for the interior design and Airpark Signs & Graphics on the interior and exterior signage. Associates began moving into the new space on June 13, 2011; however construction will continue through the end of the summer.
