Oasis Systems Awarded Major IDIQ Contract With GSA

LEXINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - Mar 3, 2014) - Oasis Systems, a leading provider of Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Professional Services and Enterprise Applications to the Department of Defense, announced the award of a prime contract with General Services Administration (GSA) called One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business (SB). OASIS SB is a contract that was developed in response to the Government's substantial need for a hybrid, Government-wide acquisition vehicle. OASIS SB is expected to provide federal agencies streamlined access to both commercial and non-commercial complex professional services. OASIS SB is designed to reduce duplication of contracting efforts across the Government and provide federal agencies with comprehensive, integrated professional services contract options.

Selection for contract award was very competitive, with some 330 bidders vying for the $10 billion that is expected to be spent under this contract. Companies were screened and assessed by GSA to determine their qualifications for specific professional service needs.

Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GSA, the US Air Force Combat and Mission Support has committed to use GSA OASIS to acquire professional services throughout their portfolio of programs. In the "Pool" that Oasis Systems bid and won there were 40 selected small businesses who will compete over the next 18 months for approximately 40 task orders to provide professional services at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), and Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) locations for the next five years.
