Objectivity, Inc. to Present at QCon New York 2012


SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 15, 2012) - Objectivity, provider of the leading object and graph databases, today announced that Darren Wood, Architect and Lead Developer of InfiniteGraph, will be presenting on the Solutions Big Data track at QCon New York 2012. A leading international software development conference, QCon will be taking place at the New York Marriott in Brooklyn from June 18-22.

In the presentation titled, "Maximize your Data with Real-Time Big Data Analytics using NoSQL Technologies," Wood will discuss the latest trends in Big Data Analytics -- defining what is Big Data and understanding how to maximize your existing architectures by utilizing NoSQL technologies to improve functionality and provide real-time results. The talk will also focus on relationship analytics as well as an introduction to NoSQL data stores, object and graph databases, such as the architecture behind Objectivity/DB and InfiniteGraph.

The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 19 at the Roebling/Gleason room.

About the speaker

Darren Wood is the Architect and Lead Developer of InfiniteGraph, a distributed graph-oriented data management solution from Objectivity, Inc. Darren has spent the majority of his career architecting and building distributed systems with an emphasis on elastic scalability and data management.

Prior to joining Objectivity in 2007, Darren held positions as a Senior Consultant with IONA Technologies and a Development Team Lead for Citect Australia. Darren holds a First Class Honors Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
