OCBC Endorses Steve Lodge for Anaheim City Council

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 14, 2012) - Orange County Business Council (OCBC), the leading voice of business in Orange County, has endorsed Steve Lodge for Anaheim City Council. Lodge served as a Santa Ana Police Officer for 30 years before retiring and joining Hill International as their Director of Public Affairs.

"Steve Lodge has demonstrated a firm commitment to public service both in his role as a police officer in the City of Santa Ana, and through his current role with Hill International," said Lucy Dunn, President and CEO of Orange County Business Council.

"He is connected to the community, but also has an understanding of the important role Anaheim plays in regional issues."

Steve served in the military and then had a 30-year career in law enforcement as a Santa Ana police officer and later homicide detective. During his time with the Santa Ana Police Department, Steve Lodge served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Santa Ana Police Officers Association and also on the Chief's Organization and Budget Review Committee. Following his public service, Steve enhanced his knowledge of local government and the community by his experience in business.

"Steve Lodge serves as a solid advocate of the Business Council's key initiatives on infrastructure, housing, education and -- most importantly -- jobs creation in a tough economy," stated Dunn.
